Mark Marsolais-Nahwegahbow was tired of waiting on the federal government to solve the water issues on First Nation reserves, so he started selling coffee.
Birch Bark Coffee Company was born out of a desire to make a change. That change was to bring safe drinking water to all communities affected by water advisories. Right now, First Nations people are those most affected by these advisories. Mark Marsolais-Nahwegahbow was tired of waiting on the federal government to solve the water issues on reserves, so he started selling coffee. But that's only the first step in his #Grounds4Change movement.
